Quinnipiac University was established in 1929 by politician Samuel W. Tator as the Connecticut College of Commerce on land originally occupied by Quinnipiac Indians. Initially offering two-year associate study, the College closed during WWII as most of its 200 men were drafted. Upon re-opening in 1951, it was renamed Quinnipiac and expanded to include the all-female Larson College. Eighty eight prosperous years later, Quinnipiac is teaching 7,184 Bobcats as a private, coeducational NAICU member with a frequently cited Polling Institute. Quinnipiac University Accreditation Details

In Fall 2009, Quinnipiac University had its full 10-year accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) reaffirmed under president John L. Quinnipiac University Application Requirements

Getting into Quinnipiac University can be difficult because the U.S. News & World Report recorded a “selective” 2016 acceptance rate of 76 percent. The Online M.S. in Business Analytics program only considers candidates who’ve culminated undergrad study at a regionally accredited college. Bachelor’s majors, including math, actuarial science, computer science, economics, and accounting, must be quantitative-based. Curriculum prerequisites exist for introductory statistics and data analytics. Holding a minimum 3.0 GPA overall is mandatory, but the 92 online students currently have a 3.4 average. Quinnipiac has test-optional admission policies with a GMAT range of 400-720. Preference is given for M.S. applicants with Big Data work experience. International post-grads are welcomed with English proficiency scores above 550 (TOEFL) or 6.5 (IELTS).

Online technology fees are $150 for part-time and $340 for full-time students every semester. Quinnipiac suggests budgeting $1,050 for textbooks and $1,400 for miscellaneous expenses yearly. The total Online M.S. cost is approximately $35,285.

The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) reported that 84 percent of full-time Quinnipiac Bobcats received $122.26 million for average financial amounts of $20,736. Online students can use their Quinnipiac username to log into $ALT for resource planning.
